How do you start your day? What kind of #routine do you have? As a busy #Mom of 4 children, I barely had enough time for myself. I was constantly on the go, I never knew which day it was. I was always looking after others, even in my job(I was a PSW in a nursing home), but I never had time for me.
I realized back then, that I had to make time for myself. I had to look after my #mind, #body and #spirit. I had to create a #routine for me. I felt kind of selfish at the time, but if I was going to look after others, I had to look after me too!!
Back then I had a #journal that I wrote in each day. I wrote down 3 things to achieve that day

Read 2 pages of a book I enjoyed
Go out in nature
That was my #routine back then. I was still tired and stressed, but I got to do what I loved the most, #read and be in nature, Now years later, my #routine is different. As a #empath, I have to protect my #energy. I am constantly picking up #energy all day, so it is important to me to have a #selfcare routine.
I start each day with #grounding myself. I ask #archangelmichael to protect my #energy throughout the day. I love #affirmations and I listen to #estherhicks. She gives me so much positive energy when I hear her voice.
I have added energy foods to my self care. Apples, celery, blueberries. I feel so much lighter and my energy is better. I cut back on so much coffee. I am trying to drink more water, 2 small bottles a day.
