Healing Within

For us to become whole and healthy, we must balance our mind, body and spirit. We need to take care of our bodies(healthy eating/exercise). We need to take care of our mind(thoughts, fears, emotions) and our spirit.
What does healing within mean to you? Everything inside of us is all we need. We always look outside of ourselves for healing. We go to chiropractors, message therapists, hypnotherapists etc, when we can heal ourselves. Our mind is powerful and we have that ability to heal ourselves. So what do we need to do in order to heal within?
Change your thoughts- Change your thinking and improve the quality of your life. Our thoughts create our experiences. When we change our thinking patterns, we change our experiences. Example: When we are negative, we keep experiencing the same situations, people over and over again.. When we change our thoughts, our experiences change.
Our emotions- When we suppress our emotions, fear, stress, anxiety, they lodge into our body, showing up as a health problem.
I will give you an example- When I was a young girl, my sisters boyfriends Mom was paralyzed. I knew when I saw her that she was paralyzed with fear. Her husband was verbally and physically abusive. Other's had to look after her. She was unable to speak her truth. She ended up being paralyzed for the rest of her life. This is just one example of how our emotions, thoughts and fears can effect the body.
The last one is our spirit. It is so important to take time each day to nurture our spirit. This takes time and effort. Discipline is key. Connect with your higher self, journal, self-love.
